Chicago Area Sports Analytics Group Meet Ups
A small group of us host the Chicago Area Sports Analytics Group Meet Ups. It's exactly what it sounds like - people who are interested in sports analytics getting together to talk shop, network, and hang out. We kicked things off back in April 2023 and usually meet up two or three times a year (roughly every four months or so).
Who Should Attend?
It's a great opportunity for anyone and everyone. Our group spans the entire spectrum of experience and skillsets. We regularly have people who work professionally in the industry - including folks from the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, and Chicago Fire - as well as people working in the sports betting space.
But you absolutely do not need to work in sports to show up. We have plenty of hobbyists (like myself) and people who have literally never written a line of code. If you like sports and numbers, you'll fit right in.
Stay in the Loop
If you're interested in getting on our email list, just reach out and let me know! The best way to get a hold of me would be via email (seanwsullivan1@gmail.com). Otherwise, feel free to check back on this page every so often to see when the next event is on the calendar.
Next Meet Up: Keep an eye out for our next event, tentatively planned for January 2027.
